We stayed in this hotel as part of a marriage group. The Rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel is not on the main highway to Kollam or Trivandrum and hence suffers from a location bias. While we did not expect any 5 star hotel rooms, what blew us away was the very responsive staff whether it was the front desk or the restaurant. The restaurant serves very good mallu food as well as good continental fare. Veg options are limited (as in many restaurants in Kerala). The staff was very small in number to serve a big crowd but after the first day they found their paces and rose to the occasion. There was a significant issue with wifi which did not improve at all during our stay. Overall a well placed hotel on the way to Kottarakara/Kollam/Trivandrum which has clean rooms and bathrooms.

One of the worst hotel bar I visited..staffs are only running no movement of works…really disappointed ..I visited executive bar..worst of money…I ask for beer they bring water…no value for the money what we pay…under manning and lack Of training for staffs

We were on a short visit of 2 days. Since we did not have a prior reservation in any hotel, so we decided to spot check in in Raj Regency. The staff at the reception were very courteous and also offered us good package. For two days we were mostly in hotel and did not venture out much. The food and drinks selections of the hotel is awesome. Food menu seems seems to be very carefully drafted. We also visited the rooftop bar . Ordered Drums of Heaven most of the times as it became our new favorite . Breakfast service and food quality is good as well. We can say the kitchen and service team are doing a good job.

The Raj Regency is a pleasant surprise. The rooms are quite large, very clean, well furnished and quiet. The folks at the reception desk are courteous as are the room service staff. The restaurant is decent; we had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and liked it. Two things need improving; the water pressure in the sink is not adequate, forcing you to stick your head all the way into the sink! And the water in the shower didn't get hot even though the room service staff kept saying that it would. Apart from these two points, I would rate the Raj Regency as an excellency hotel.
